The service
Solar Pool & Roof is a service of I Totally Need That LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("we"). We provide AI-generated visualizations and preliminary estimates for home improvement projects, and introduces homeowners to independent contractors. We are not a contractor and do not perform installations.
Estimates are estimates
Visualizations and cost/savings figures are informational previews generated from satellite imagery and public data. Final pricing, system design, and feasibility are determined by the licensed professional after an on-site assessment.
Contractors
Listed businesses are independent companies. A "verified member" is a business whose owner has claimed and confirmed control of the listing; it does not mean we have verified their license, insurance, or work quality, and it is not an endorsement. Listings marked "unclaimed" are sourced from Overture Maps open business data, used under the CDLA-Permissive-2.0 licence, and are shown until the owner claims them. Ratings shown on our listings are our own: they come only from homeowners we personally introduced to that business, and we publish one only after at least three have answered. We do not publish ratings taken from other review sites. Where a listing links out to a business's page on another service, that page and its reviews belong to that service, not to us. You are responsible for confirming any contractor's license, insurance, and references before hiring, and every contract is between you and the contractor.
How we are paid
Listed businesses may pay us a flat monthly listing fee. We take no commission on your project, and what you pay your contractor is between you and them. Paying us never changes which pros we show you for your request.
For listed businesses
Claiming your listing is free and always will be: a free claim gets you the listing, your ratings and the enquiries we route to you. Paid plans add display features such as showing your website and phone number, and are billed monthly through Stripe. We never store your card details.
During our launch period, listings and enquiries cost nothing. If you start a paid plan before that period ends, you are not charged until it does. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and your listing then returns to the free tier — we do not delete it, and you keep your claim, your ratings and the enquiries you have already received. Fees already paid are not refunded on cancellation.
Paying us never changes which businesses we show a homeowner for their request, beyond the placement described on our pricing page.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate, measurement, or visualization will prove accurate.
Estimates and visualizations are not professional advice. They are generated from satellite imagery, public data, and statistical models, without anyone visiting your property. Roof measurements, sun exposure, system sizing, and cost ranges are approximations and will differ from what a licensed professional determines on site. Do not rely on them for a purchasing, financing, structural, or safety decision.
Independent contractors
We introduce homeowners to independent businesses. We do not employ, control, supervise, endorse, or guarantee any of them, and we do not verify licensing, insurance, workmanship, or background unless we expressly say so for a specific business. Any agreement, payment, dispute, or claim arising from work performed is solely between you and that business. You are responsible for confirming a contractor's licence, insurance, and references before hiring.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, neither we nor our officers, employees, or suppliers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to the service — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). Because homeowners pay us nothing, this means our liability to a homeowner is limited to $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limits above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or any dispute between you and a contractor.
Changes and termination
We may modify these terms. If a change is material we will update the date at the top of this page and, where we hold your email address and the change materially affects you, tell you by email. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and ask us to delete your data.
We may suspend or end access to the service, or remove a listing, at any time — including for misuse, non-payment, or a legal requirement. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections covering estimates, contractors, warranties, liability, indemnification, and governing law survive any termination.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and both of us consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing anything, please email support@solarpoolroof.com and give us 30 days to resolve it. Most things can be sorted out that way.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service, submit others' addresses to harass them, or scrape the directory. We may suspend accounts that do.
